Life Filled with Joy

It's God's will to fill your life with the joy of His presence. That doesn't mean that you will have no problems. It does mean that the presence of God will give you strength through joy. The psalmist said to God, "In Your presence is fullness of joy" (Psalm 16:11). That's the presence of God in believers through the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is the joy of life.

Remember, true joy is not dependent on outward circumstances or other people. True joy comes from within. It is dependent upon your relationship with God. You may be in difficult circumstances, and yet be filled with the joy of the Lord. He is the joy of life. Your prayer to God says, "Restore to me the joy of Your salvation" (Psalm 51:12).

Pray the Word: Father, I focus upon You as the joy of my life. I enter Your presence with praise and thanksgiving. You are worthy of all praise. Restore my joy in Your presence, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do the Word: Worship God from the heart. Refresh yourself, focused upon the presence of God. In His presence there is fullness of joy. His joy is your strength for living. Worship makes you aware of God's presence with you. His manifest presence is the place of joy. God is your joy now and forever.
