What is your answer to this question, "Is God pleased with your life?" You may respond by saying, "Well, I sure hope so." There could be doubt in that answer. Someone else may say, "I'm trying the best I can to please God."
There is only one way to please God. When you read what the Bible says, then you may answer Yes or No. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6). Do you have faith in God? That's the question. You know the answer.
Faith in God is trust and confidence in God. It is a faith relationship with God. You trust His word of promise, according to the Bible. Trust in God is dependence upon Him. You believe He is trustworthy in all things. Faith in God means you are depending upon Him in life and in death. Faith in God means you can trust Him when you understand, and when you don't.
Maybe you want to have faith in God, but you struggle with doubt. Understand that faith in God is a gift from God. God is the source of faith through His Son. "Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2). Call upon the Lord to give you the faith you need.
