You Need Friends

You need friends who love you and support you in all of life's circumstances. You need friends who will be there for you in time of need. You need friends who are dependable in the good times and bad. You need friends who understand you and accept you.

Jesus says to us, "Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me" (John 15:15, NLT). Jesus is the friend we all need. He loves you now and forever. Jesus is a friend who will be there for you at all times. He is with you always. He is dependable in the good times and bad. Jesus is a friend who understands you and accepts you.

Jesus, by his resurrection and exaltation, is everywhere now through his Spirit. He's with you always. He will listen to you when you talk to him. He will speak to your heart. He will change your life.

In Bible days, to be a friend was to be in a covenant relationship. That is to be committed to one another. Enter into covenant with Jesus Christ. Confess him as your Lord. Commit your life to him. He will truly be your friend.

You may think, why would Jesus want to be my friend? Perhaps, you even think that your life is too bad for him to be your best friend. He will forgive you and help you. He will love you and embrace you. He wants to be your best friend.
