Pray About Everything

Prayer is relational. It is fellowship with God. The believer who prays effectively has a personal relationship with God as Father. Through faith in Jesus Christ, God becomes your heavenly Father. You have a loving relationship with Him as your heavenly Father. Jesus said, "In this manner, therefore pray, our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name"(Matthew 6:9).

Pray about everything. You can talk to God about everything. That includes your problems. Make your requests known to God. Why worry when you can talk to God about everything? "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be known unto God" (Philippians 4:6).

Your Father in heaven invites you to bring everything to Him in prayer. Make your requests known to God. Offer thanksgiving to God for all the blessings that He has given you, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Confess your sins to God, knowing that He will forgive you, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Refuse worry and anxiety, as you make your requests known to God in prayer. Talk to your loving Father in heaven about everything. Forget about being formal. Prayer is talking to God about what's on your heart. It is conversation with your Father.
