Be Content

Be content. To think that a person could be content in every situation is hard for some people to believe. Yet, it's possible. Learn the secret of being content. Then you can say, "I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation" (Philippians 4:12).

Be content in every situation through God's peace. It is a fruit of the Spirit of Christ working in you. The Spirit of Christ is in the believer in every situation. Trying to find a situation which would give you peace is a wild goose chase. You are looking in the wrong direction. It's not about a situation, rather it's about a person. The Lord himself and your relationship with him is the secret.

Be content by knowing and doing the will of God. Know God's will for your life. That does not mean a life without problems. Looking for a problem free life in order to be content is the wrong approach. You can be content in every situation, even in the hard places and difficult situations, because you know the will of God for your life.

Be content in every situation by understanding that God can change your circumstances according to His will. God is not a helpless spectator. He is the Lord God Almighty. "The Most High rules in the kingdom of men" (Daniel 4:32). Understand that God is Lord over every situation in your life. Therefore, be content in the God who rules all.
