God's Love for You

The love of God is forever. His love for you as his child is never ending. In your life, there will always be the love of God. God's love is not temporary. You never have to wonder if he will love you tomorrow. "But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him" (Psalm 103:17, NLT).

These words, "those who fear him" may have gotten your attention. What does that mean? It is not talking about a tormenting fear, rather it is a godly fear. That means we hold the LORD in awe, with deep respect and reverence. It means we are in a covenant relationship with God. That means you are one of his children.

God's love for you is forever proven at the cross of Jesus. God loves you that much. He loves you so much, "that he gave his only begotten Son" (John 3:16). Should you ever doubt God's love for you, quickly look to Christ Jesus suffering, bleeding, dying for you at the cross. There is no greater love. God's love for you is "all in" at the cross. His love holds nothing back.

Your death cannot end God's love for you. His love in Christ gives you everlasting life. God loves you in life. He loves you in death. He loves you forever. Even death cannot change God's love for you. "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't" (Romans 8:38, NLT).  That is to say, God's love for you is forever.
