What kind of plans do you have for your life? You may have very few plans, or you may have plans with a schedule that looks into the distant future. Whatever plans you have, know that God has good plans for you. Every believer's life is a plan of God. That includes you. Because God is good, his plans for you are good.
God works in your life and your heart. Your heart is your mind, will, and emotions. When you desire God to work in your heart, that is proof evident that he is. One of the ways you will know is the hope he puts in your heart. Also, he puts in your heart a desire to follow him as LORD. That is surrendering your life to his good plans.
Maybe you have experienced disappointment when your plans have failed. Most of us have. Things simply didn't work the way you planned. Your disappointments will lead to divine appointments, if you trust him and desire his good will. For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11, NLT).
When life brings difficulty, hope refuses to give up, because your future is in God's hands. Believers are not exempt from tough times and hard days, but the hope which God puts in your heart can see through the present difficulty, knowing that he has good plans for your life.
