Promises for You

A relationship with God begins with this promise for you. Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Joel 2:32; Romans 10:13). Your name is whoever. That promise includes you. A personal relationship with God is for all who call upon the Lord. He will save you.

A relationship with God continues with this promise for you. He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). God works in the life of every believer. He works faith, hope, and love in your life as abiding gifts (1 Corinthians 13:13). What the Lord begins in you, the Lord completes in you.

Every promise of God is for believers in Jesus Christ. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us (2 Corinthians 1:20). Faith and hope are based upon God's promises for you. As a believer, the promises of God are personal for you.

The Bible is a book filled with God's promises for you. They are not empty promises, because they are the sure promises of God. He does not lie. God who cannot lie, promised before time began (Titus 1:2). A relationship with God is steadfast and sure, standing on promises for you that cannot fail.
