Good-Bye to Worry

You can say good-bye to worry. It's called prayer. Your prayers are directed toward a loving, heavenly Father who really cares about you. He cares about every detail of your life.

Prayer is talking to your Father in heaven about all of your needs and problems. It's trusting Him with all the things beyond your control, understanding that nothing is beyond His control.

You have the right as a believer to ask your heavenly Father to give you daily bread, lead you not into temptation and deliver you from evil. Most of all, you may ask that His will be done in your life.

You have a choice. Will you worry or pray? There is one more option. You may pray and continue to worry. Prayer that defeats worry is connected to faith. It's faith in God. You pray for courage to change the things that you can. You pray for grace to accept the things that you cannot change. You ask God for wisdom to know the difference.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything through prayer . . .
let your requests be made known unto God."

Philippians 4:6
