God works in your life according to His word. It includes promises made with an oath that cannot be broken. In ancient times, vows were sealed in the death of a sacrificial animal. God's everlasting word to you as a believer is sealed in the blood of Jesus at the cross.
God's word simply cannot be changed, because it is forever settled in heaven. That is God's promise to you that all of your sins are forgiven. That same word promises you eternal life and all the blessings of God in Christ Jesus.
Your relationship with God is guaranteed through God's forever word. Read the promises of God in the Bible. Believe them. Pray them back to God. Expect God to fulfill every promise according to His purpose, and for His glory.
God has sworn with an oath. He will not change His mind. He has proven that oath through Christ at the cross. Jesus is your sure word of promise. God's word is forever settled in heaven. That's God's word to you.
