The power of truth can change your life. Truth overcomes confusion and misunderstanding. The bright light of truth quickly conquers the darkness of the lie. The Bible teaches that everyone lives under the power of the truth or the lie. Sometime the lie disguises as the truth. The lie is deceptive. Those who speak the lie align themselves against the truth.
The lie binds the lives of people. Prisoners of the lie do not even understand that they are bound. Only when the light of truth permeates their minds and hearts can they be made free. Jesus said, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). The power encounter with truth brings sure conquest of the lie.
God is the source of eternal truth. God brings the truth into our lives, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The Bible is God's Word of Truth. The Son of God said, "I am the truth" (John 14:6). The Holy Spirit is known as the Spirit of truth. The Holy Spirit "will guide you into all truth" (John 16:13).
Ask God to show you the truth. He will, because God has nothing to offer you but the truth. He changes lives with the truth of His Word, Son, and Spirit. The Holy Spirit brings the truth to you through the Bible. He confirms the truth in your heart, that you may know the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the truth.
