God Thinks about You

God thinks about you. His thoughts include all things, and that includes you. God's thoughts about you include your past, present, and future. Those thoughts include all the details of your life. His knowledge of you is comprehensive. God is omniscient, knowing all things about you.

God thinks about your future as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. His purpose for you is to be conformed to the likeness of Christ. In this life, God is thinking about your service and ministry. He is working in your life according to His thoughts, to fulfill your destiny in life, as well as your eternal destiny. "For I know the thoughts that I have for you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11).

As a believer in Jesus Christ, God's thoughts about you include, love, grace, goodness, peace, hope and a future. Those thoughts are recorded in the Bible for you and all believers to read. As you read the Bible, God gladly shares His thoughts with you. He wants you to think His thoughts with Him as you read your Bible. "O LORD, the earth is full of your unfailing love; teach me your principles" (Psalm 119:64, NLT).

What do you think about yourself? Make sure your thoughts agree with God's thoughts. Also, how do you think about others? God wants you to think His thoughts about other people. They are thoughts of love and compassion. As you read your Bible, adjust your thoughts to God's thoughts. Your life will be changed by God's thoughts. Think God's thoughts. Then you can say to God, "Your decrees please me; they give me wise advice" (Psalm 119:24).
