When you are in covenant with God, He assures you that what He is doing in your life is good. God cannot fail. His word is His oath and vow. He is both great and good enough to honor His promise to all who love and trust Him. "And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good" (Jeremiah 32:40).
God has promised to do good for His people. It does not mean that you are exempt from trials and testing. But it does mean that throughout your life God is working all things together for your good and His glory. "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
Pray the Word: Father, many things happen to me that I don't understand, but through it all, I believe You are working all things together for my good, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Do the Word: Praise God for His goodness in your life. When something bad happens to you, remember God is good always. Praise Him through the bad times, knowing that God is working all things together for your good.
