Unbelief is a thief. It will steal the blessings of God from you. Jesus said, "You believe in God, believe also in Me" (John 14:1). All the blessings of God come to you in Christ. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3). Believing is receiving God's blessings.
Unbelief is never your friend. To the contrary, unbelief is your number one enemy, trying to steal what God graciously offers you in Christ. The Holy Spirit comes to you to expose the sin of unbelief. Jesus taught that the Holy Spirit convicts of unbelief, "of sin, because they believe not in Me" (John 16:9). Don't let unbelief rob you of God's blessings.
Confess your doubt and unbelief as sin. God has promised every spiritual blessing for you through faith in Christ. Receive each and every spiritual blessing for you in the Lord Jesus Christ. Unbelief rejects the blessings of God. Faith receives all God has for you in Christ.
Ask God to show you any areas of doubt and unbelief in your life. You need not beg God to bless you. He already has in Christ Jesus our Lord. Believe and receive the word of truth, according to the Bible. Unbelief is never your friend, but what a friend we have in Jesus.
