God's love is forever. His love for you us is never ending. In our lives as believers, there will always be the love of God. God's love is not temporary. We never have to wonder if he will love us tomorrow. "But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him" (Psalm 103:17, NLT).
These words, "those who fear him" may have gotten your attention. What does that mean? It is not talking about a tormenting fear, rather it is a godly fear. That means we hold the LORD in awe, with deep respect and reverence. It means we are in a covenant relationship with God. That means we are his children.
God's love is forever proven at the cross of Jesus. God loves us that much. He loves us so much, "that he gave his only begotten Son" (John 3:16). Should we ever doubt God's love for us, quickly look to Christ Jesus suffering, bleeding, dying for us at the cross. There is no greater love. God's love for us is seen at the cross. His love holds nothing back.
Even death cannot separate believers from God's love. His love in Christ gives believers everlasting life. God loves us in life. He loves us in death. He loves us forever. Even death cannot change God's love for us. "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't" (Romans 8:38, NLT). That is to say, God's love is forever.
