Be Confident

Confidence brings assurance that you can accomplish things in life. Without confidence, you will be reluctant to try anything new. Lack of confidence introduces you to fear. Your motivation diminishes quickly. So, where do you find confidence to do anything?

Self-confidence is a popular subject for books. As the expression implies, it is confidence in yourself. So, how far will that take you in life? Self-confidence may become a charade, pretending to be what you are not. Self-confidence is fragile. It often falls hard and fast to the difficult realities of life.

Be confident, not as an actor upon a stage, but really confident. Place your confidence in God. Find confidence in Him that will give you a sure foundation in life.

The word confidence means with faith. It's not faith in yourself, but faith in God which brings real confidence. "For the LORD will be your confidence" (Proverbs 3:26).

Be confident in God. Trust in God through every situation of life. Confidence in God brings practical results. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24). Be confident in God to conquer all your fears and worries. Self-confidence may easily be defeated in the face of fear. Make God your confidence.
