The first lesson a baby learns in life is to trust. The bond between a mother and the infant is trust. The baby learns to trust the mother to be there. The cry is heard and mother's loving arms lift the infant for nurture and care. So it is in our relationship with God, we must learn to trust that He will be there for us.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5). None of us can understand all about the greatness of God. Our understanding is limited. Like an infant who does not understand the mother, yet trust is developed. There is so much that we don't understand about God. Don't lean on your own understanding, but trust in God.
Pray the Word: LORD, I trust You, even though there is so much about You I cannot understand. I will trust You in all the situations of my life, knowing You are there for me.
Do the Word: Choose to trust God in all of life's situations. Trust His word of promise in the Bible. Read the promises. Pray the promises. Trust God to always keep His word of promise in your life. Trust Him when you understand and when you don't. Give Him your heart to trust Him daily.
